Movin' on up!

Right now, I can't stop smiling! The last couple of weeks have been painstakingly long, what with appointments, tons of paper work, and waiting for my visa stuff to go through as well as making sure all my University stuff is in check. I'm the kinda person who needs to be told a few times that everything is going ok before I believe it. The last thing I want is to arrive in Glasgow and be told "sorry, didn't you get the memo?" haha.

Anywho, the point of this is that my visa has been approved and my One way ticket has been purchased! None of this has hit me yet. I don't know at what point it will, but I do know that this summer is flying by ridiculously fast (heat waves and all). I mean come on, its friggin' August already!

So excited I took an excited photobooth picture! I'm such a dork.

  1. Hey you! I've missed your blog so much, and I'm so happy to see you're back! Though, I think I may have missed some posts?
It's so exciting that you'll be studying in Glasgow! I'm sure you'll have an amazing time :)

  2. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Congrats on Glasgow! Even though I go to school at University of Edinburgh, I love Glasgow and luckily it's only an hour train ride away. It's a really great city with a fabulous music scene. All the best bands come to Glasgow (last year I saw the National, the Decemberists, Deerhunter, etc in Glasgow and of course there's the locals like Belle & Sebastian, Glasvegas, etc). The uni area is adorable and looks like something out of Harry Potter. Also, Glaswegians are known to be much friendly than Edinburghers. The only downside is it's known to rain more in Glasgow than Edinburgh, but I'm sure you'll love it.

Visas are horribly nervewrecking. Even though I've had to apply twice, it still gets me worked up every time. They're awfully last minute, but it always works out.
